TEGA CAY, S.C. — Tega Cay has named its next fire chief.
Glyn Hasty of Indian Land has decades of experience.

He's worked for the Charlotte Fire Department, the Indian Land Volunteer Fire Department and he was chief of the Waxhaw Fire Department.
He is expected to take over as chief in Tega Cay late next month.
