CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District said Thomasboro Academy in west Charlotte was placed on lockdown Tuesday for police activity in the area.

Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the school on Bradford Drive, where we saw police cars in the parking lot.
Chopper 9 also captured at least one person being taken into custody.
Officials haven’t released any other details.
