WAXHAW, N.C. — Nearly 200 people in Waxhaw were without power Monday morning after a tree fell onto power lines, officials told Channel 9.
The tree fell sometime overnight near Kensington Drive at Millbridge Parkway. Kensington Drive was closed as crews worked to make repairs.
Crews were able to complete repairs and reopened the road before 8 a.m.
