STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — A Concord man died after he crashed into a stopped car at an intersection at about 10 p.m. in Stanly County, troopers said.
Kevin Watkins was approaching the stoplight at the intersection of North Carolina Highway 138 and U.S. Highway 52 when he didn't slow down, crashing into another vehicle.
Two passengers in that car were transported to Stanly Memorial Hospital, troopers said.
No further information has been released.
