GASTONIA, N.C. — Gaston County police released video of two suspects breaking into a home along Boyd Road in Gastonia.

They said the break-in happened in the early morning hours of Feb. 2. Police said one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The homeowner told Channel 9 she watched their every move on her phone.

"Emotionally and physically, I've suffered," Kay Sparrow said. "They had a gun, and so, they could have shot me."
Detectives said they don't know why the home was targeted, but they believe it was an isolated incident.
“We’re asking people to pay attention to their mannerisms, their build," Sgt. Matt Hensley, with the Gaston County Police Department, said. “We’re looking for anything. It might be that little piece that breaks that case wide open.”
