CHARLOTTE — CMPD arrested a driver they say ran a red light and hit a woman in Elizabeth.
Channel 9 was at the scene last Thursday, near Queens Road and East Third Street.
Police say the woman, Katherine Lamberth, was in a crosswalk.
She died later that day.
The driver, Thomas Rives, is charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle.
