CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for a man after a woman said he exposed himself to her Monday morning in front of a Dilworth YMCA.
The woman told police she was at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and South Caldwell Street in front of the Dowd YMCA around 8:30 a.m. when a man drove up and exposed himself to her.
“That is crazy, just wild in Charlotte," neighbor Claire Walczyk said. "You would not expect that here next to the Y.”
Neighbors told Channel 9′s veteran crime reporter Glenn Counts that they’ll be more conscious of their surroundings.
“I think it is a big concern because that’s inappropriate and we women should be safe in the streets anytime,” said neighbor Milley Constant.
No arrests have been made and police have not released a description of the man.
