A new and improved website launched Tuesday at 2 p.m. featuring a fresh look and feel. You can still get all the local breaking news, top stories, weather, videos, community news, sports and much more at the same place, wsoctv.com.
Some of the new features that you will find on wsoctv.com are faster video loading, livestream video from Eyewitness News newscasts, community targeted sections that cover news in your neighborhood, a revamped weather section with hour-by-hour forecasting and personal forecasts and DriveTime technology on our traffic section that gives estimated trip times.

Some wsoctv.com readers have emailed to ask whether an email apparently sent from WSOC-TV is legitimate of if it's spam. We can confirm that the email below is indeed from us and it's related to our new website, which launched Tuesday:

If you have signed up to receive daily news headlines by email, you will now only receive them once a day. We used to send them at 5 a.m., 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and now they will only be sent once per day at 12:30 p.m. If you are not receiving them, you can sign up by clicking here.
