Democratic National Convention 2016 live updates: Day 4

She has the last spot on the last day of the Democratic National Convention, and Hillary Clinton is facing an important task – she has to convince the American public that she is the person to lead the country for the next four years.

Having already become the first woman to be nominated for president from one of the two major parties in the United States, Clinton must now prove she’s the candidate that both women and men can vote for.

She got a boost last night from Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama who asked his supporters to back Clinton, his one-time rival for the presidency.

The country will hear her vision for the future of America Thursday night, in perhaps the most important political speech of Clinton’s  career.

Her daughter, Chelsea, will introduce her this evening.

Check back here at 4:30 p.m. ET for live updates from the last night of the Democratic National Convention.
