Authorities investigate shootout near Lake Wylie grocery store

LAKE WYLIE, N.C. — Occupants in two vehicles reportedly got into a shootout late Thursday afternoon in the parking lot near the Publix in Lake Wylie, the York County Sheriff’s Office said.

There were no shots fired inside the popular grocery store. There were no injuries or property damage, authorities said.

The shooting incident is under investigation.
