STATESVILLE, N.C. — People at an Iredell County campground got a scare when floodwaters washed out the only road leading into and out of the campground.
Several agencies responded to Real McCoy Family Campground on Log Drive in Statesville.
Emergency crews went to check on people who were stranded due to flooding Thursday night.
The people are OK and the water has receded.
