CMPD gifts mother, daughter with new car

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Scott Clark Nissan provided a single mother and her daughter with a new car Thursday.

Paulina Moscoso’s car recently broke down, so she reached out to her church for support to help pay for repairs.

The church contacted CMPD and shared her story.

Moscoso said the new car is a blessing.

Her daughter is paralyzed and said the car will be critical to help them get to daily medical appointments.

The teen plans to attend Queens University Charlotte in the fall.
