CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide in north Charlotte Friday afternoon.
It happened just before 4 p.m. on Statesville Avenue near Alma Court.
According to MEDIC, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene following a shooting.
However, no additional details have been made available.
