Eyewitness News reporter Glenn Counts spoke to Brown's attorney about those new accusations.
Charles Naas and Brown are both accused of violating the trust that parents and students placed in them.
"College graduate; never been in any trouble before, so the charges have taken him by surprise," Brown’s defense attorney, Robert Corbett, said.
Brown taught at Billingsville Elementary School, and police said that he held a summer camp at his home and used it to sexually abuse five students.
Naas was a seventh-grade teacher at Alexander Graham Middle School and he was accused of sexually abusing a student that he was tutoring.
Now, he is also facing child pornography charges.
The two cases are not related, but police said in both instances, the abuse occurred at the suspects’ homes.
"He has denied any wrongdoing, but we haven't gotten anything from the police to deny or corroborate anything," Corbett said.
Brown was initially charged with indecent liberties against two victims. Police say they found three others, and the new cases add up to 26 new charges.
Police said they spent Friday looking for Brown, but his attorney said he didn't realize he was wanted until Friday night and immediately surrendered on Saturday.
"When we found out there were warrants, he didn't want anyone to think he was running and wanted to turn himself in immediately," Corbett said.
Brown is in jail under a $260,000 bond.
