CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It could be about a month before the Charlotte area fully recovers from this week's heavy flooding.

Many homes and businesses were destroyed by the floodwaters.
As cleanup efforts are underway, Meteorologist Tony Sadiku went to the hardest hit areas to check on how conditions have improved.
