MORGANTON, N.C. — Caldwell County deputies arrested Joshua Wallace Thursday at his home after he allegedly tried to rob a credit union.
They said he’d been on the run for nearly a week.
Wallace walked into the Members Credit Union in Morganton on Dec. 20 and demanded money, police said.
He walked out of the credit union empty-handed, however. A tip on social media helped officers make the arrest, The News Herald reported.
His first court appearance was scheduled for Friday.
