IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A group of armed assailants forced their way into an Iredell County home early Sunday morning and tied up the five occupants.
One of the intruders hit the homeowner with brass knuckles and stabbed him in the head before the group took off with stolen items, the Sheriff’s Office said.
At about 2 a.m., four or five masked people got into the home at 137 Rosie Apple Lane and demanded money and drugs from the victims.
There was a struggle, and the mask on one of the suspects was pulled down.
The homeowner recognized the man as Donald Arthur Blevins III, of 3050 Wilkesboro Highway in Statesville.
