CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The first bricks-and-mortar location of this North Carolina-based home furnishings and decor brand will open soon at Atherton Mill.
Society Social has signed on as part of the $100 million project to revamp that retail complex in South End. The 1,740-square-foot store is slated to open this summer.

The digital-first brand was founded in 2011 by Roxy Te, building on a 40-year family tradition. It designs and produces upholstery, casegoods and furniture.
Expect the South End location to offer original furniture designs, custom design services, home decor accessories and lifestyle gifts.
“As a modern brand with digital origins, we saw the importance of having a place where our customers can not only touch and feel our designs but also experience a physical expression of our brand in real life,” Te says.
Society Social has been nationally recognized by HGTV, Oprah, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Harper’s Bazaar, Southern Living in addition to Town and Country Magazine.
