CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This fast-casual taqueria and bar has found its home in SouthPark.
Mal Pan opened for dinner service this week at Piedmont Town Center. Expect limited hours and a smaller menu over the next few weeks as the restaurant ramps up, said Andre Lomeli, partner.
The restaurant opens for dinner service at 4 p.m. daily. Lunch service will be added starting at 11 a.m. Monday.
Lomeli has teamed up with Augusto Salazar and Rosendo Lomeli — his father, who also is the chef for the concept.
The trio has invested $300,000 in what Andre Lomeli describes as a “very extra taqueria.” Mal Pan is their first concept in North Carolina, following successful ventures in California.
