MONROE, N.C. — An 18-year-old man is now charged with shooting into a home in Monroe, police said.

Monroe police arrested Christopher Sakyi in connection with the Aug. 21 shooting on Skywatch Lane.

Officers say the home was struck multiple times by gunfire that night, but thankfully no one was hurt.
