CHERAW, S.C. — A man has been charged with kidnapping a Cheraw man who was reported missing in June, police said.

Terris Parson was last seen at about 9 p.m. on June 2 leaving his home to go to a convenience store.
He did not return.
Andre Covington, 46, was arrested Tuesday and charged with kidnapping. After investigating, officers said they uncovered evidence that placed Parson at Covington's home.

Authorities said the search for Parson will continue until he is found.
Parson routinely called his parents each morning but has not been in touch with him since he vanished.
He was driving a 2010 Buick LaCrosse with South Carolina tags – LUE-821.

Parson was last seen wearing a camouflage T-shirt, blue jeans and light-tan Timberland boots.
