CONCORD, N.C. — Concord Mills continues to make itself over, with new retailers now open and several highly anticipated additions getting close.

The Independent Tribune newspaper of Concord reports men’s apparel store Polo Ralph Lauren Big and Tall and footwear shop ASICS have recently opened in the mall, and iconic toymaker Lionel Trains, which also has its headquarters in Cabarrus County, is expected to open by the end of the month.

And as previously reported by CBJ, a Kate Spade New York store and an Amazon Pop-Up shop are also slated to join the retail lineup in August.
The new tenants’ arrivals coincide with the final phase of a renovation project at Concord Mills, owned by Simon Property Group.
