CHARLOTTE — A person has died following a shooting in west Charlotte Monday night.
It happened just after 7 p.m. on the 3000 block of Carol Avenue.
At the scene, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department found 24-year-old Kishmere Wright with multiple gunshot wounds.
Wright would ultimately die at the scene, according to MEDIC.
CMPD is currently investigating this case as a homicide, but they have not released any additional details.
