Meteorologist
Madi is a meteorologist for Severe Weather Center 9 who joined the team in January 2023.
From a young age Madi realized she had three passions; science, nature, and music. While attending classes at John Carroll University, she spent the majority of her time in the campus’s radio station. This led her to working full-time in radio in Lewistown and State College upon graduating.
Recognizing her appreciation and affinity for science, she went back to school to pursue a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. While in school, Madi worked part-time for Accuweather as a radio broadcaster.
After receiving her certificate, she left radio and decided to get into television. She landed a spot outside her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, and spent three years as a Morning Meteorologist before moving to CLT.
When Madi isn’t working, you'll find her trying to catch a concert, going for a hike, or cuddling with her cats.
A few facts about Madi: her favorite animals are dolphins and orangutans, her favorite color is purple, and, she is a music lover, but do not play The White Stripes.
