The Department of Justice has dismissed the charges against a man accused of assaulting federal officers during ‘Operation Charlotte’s Web’ in late November.
In November 2025, hundreds of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents descended on the Carolinas in a surge of immigration enforcement activities.
Over 400 people were taken into custody during the week-long enforcement campaign. But the arrests caused panic and uncertainty in Charlotte and the surrounding communities.
